WELCOME TO UNIPETRO ENGINEERING
UniPetro Engineering Sdn Bhd was originally incorporated as Universal Filtration & Flow Control (M) Sdn Bhd on 1 March 2011, and was later rebranded to its current name on 1 March 2013. We are a Sabah-based, Bumiputera-owned engineering firm headquartered at Lido Plaza, Kota Kinabalu.
At UniPetro, we specialize in delivering engineering solutions and services, offering skilled manpower for the servicing, supply, installation, periodoc maintenance, inspection, diagnostic analysis, and testing of engineering products – particularly valves – for the oil & gas sector.
Since 2012, we’ve maintained a strategic technical collaboration with Wehaya Sdn Bhd, enabling us to develop our expertise in areas such as electrical instrumentation, metering, and transferring technical knowledge. This alliance also supports our application to the PETRONAS Vendor Development Program ( VDP), aimed at advancing local Bumiputera firms in Sabah.
Our leadership plays a vital role: the Managing Director, Tn Haji Mahmud bin Mokti – an alumnus of Southern Illinois University (USA) with a Master’s in Public Affairs and a Bachelor’s in Administrative Sciences – brings significant international marketing experience and also serves as Managing Director of Neopetro Sdn Bhd since 2015.
